"Fact is, Nikki doesn't want to be in a relationship with someone who's immature and I don't want to be in a relationship with someone who's not Nikki"

Poem time!
I took a walk a winter day
I passed houses and their grounds
The saddest thing 'long my way
wrapped these houses 'round
T'was unused porches that made me frown
Stale, alone and old
Desolate as the chilling sky
no warmth to offer from the cold
Like a holiday tree, decorated
but shepherding no gifts
all of these unhappy porches
came certainly well-equipped
All the right chairs, in all the right colors
pushed against opposite walls
Grills in a range of choices
and bright, painted railings
Occasionally, a table resides
the focal point, to be sure
telling an elusioned audience
tales of long past summers
Steaks were grilled, laughter shared
sunsets watched in awe
But now the wind has driven us back
and the cold keeps us at bay
I trundle on, unaware
of a warmer, more useful day.
Christmas is coming. Baby Jesus is going to be born!
Pray for me kids, I've been smashing my fingers in doors...

so, yeah. that was...a little scary. someone must have been unbelievably bored. :D
You should probably just avoid all doors and doorways for a while.
To be theological, Jesus was never really born but actually incarnated in to humanoid form. If we see God as a Trinity, then we see The Son as equal to the Father (God) which means that the Son has always existed, just like the Father. Which brings us to the fact that Jesus was never really "born" or "created" since He is Sovereign in His own nature which is "infinite". So going back to the point made in the post....Jesus was incarnated....never actually born.
Have a very merry Christmas, Q.
Oh right....Merry Christmas! (sometimes I talk too much)
Actually, Jesus was born. You see, if you recall from Kendrick's sermon this last Sunday, Jesus is fully man and fully God. You cannot be fully man without being born. You're right when you say that the second person of the Trinity always existed, but Jesus the man was born just like you or me...well, except he was born in a dirty stable....with sheep and goats and stuff...
Fine, Ben, I guess both of our points of view are valid. Jesus (the man) was born but The Son has always existed. Merry Christmas Ben...i still hate your hat
Umm, kids, We're talking about Jesus here. Try to keep the hate to a minimum....And, just a point, have you forgotten Pastor D's story on Sunday night? Why don't you go ask Mary if Jesus was actually born....
The Great Q laughs in front of his computer as he drinks coffee and does some last minute sudying for his midterms. God Be Praised.
